Jerusalem: Whose City is it?

  • By admin

Jerusalem has been the capital of only one country in its history, Israel. As the Jerusalem Embassy Act recognized, 1996 marked the 3000th year of Jewish presence in Jerusalem since King David’s entry. It is mentioned 700 times in Jewish holy books and not once in the Koran. Jews face Jerusalem during prayer. In contrast, Muslims face Mecca. ZOA National President Morton Klein will discuss Judaism’s paramount connection to Jerusalem.
