One Year After October 7

  • By admin

Gregg Roman will reflect on Israel’s standing in the Middle East after a year marked by a seven-front war and the nation’s position in the aftermath of these (perhaps still ongoing) conflicts. Roman has assiduously followed tensions in the region during this time, including Israel’s border disputes with Lebanon, Houthi efforts to choke Western shipping through the Red Sea, Shi’ite militias attacking US troops in Iraq and Syria, ongoing strife in Gaza and the West Bank, and the continuing threat posed by the Iranian menace. Meanwhile, with a new administration in the White House, questions will arise about the future trajectory of U.S.-Israel relations.
