Today, a battle over Jerusalem’s heritage and identity is being waged – all the more so in the aftermath of October 7th – where it is being systematically undermined, erased, and re-written. The outcome of this battle will impact us all.
There is one place in the world today, perhaps more than any other, which will determine who will emerge victorious.
That place is the City of David – the place where Jerusalem began and the historic site of Biblical Jerusalem – representing the most significant and consequential half-mile on the planet.
Discover how a long-lost barren 11-acre ridge and a broken sewage pipe have positioned the City of David on the frontlines of the fight for historical truth, and the future of Israel and possibly even Western civilization.
Serving as the Director of International Affairs at the City of David Foundation in Jerusalem, Ze’ev Orenstein plays a key role in fostering global partnerships, strengthening Israel’s connection with international stakeholders, and sharing the story of ancient Jerusalem with the world. Ze’ev regularly briefs members of U.S. Congress, international diplomats, journalists and thought leaders on the historical, spiritual and political significance of Jerusalem. Through his work in the City of David, Ze’ev is bringing Jerusalem to the world, and the world to Jerusalem.
