Dr. Berk is an award-winning Professor of Holocaust and Jewish Studies at Union College. He has earned an international reputation for his teaching, writing and research on Russian and Soviet Jewish history, the American Jewish experience and antisemitism. He teaches a variety of history courses at Union; directs the college’s interdepartmental program in Russian and Eastern European Studies; and is an advisor to the on campus Hillel.
