The 4000 Year Jewish Journey: From Ur To Israel

  • By admin

Dr. Berkowitz will discuss the fascinating chronological, historical, geographic and biblical perspective on the birth and evolution of the Jewish people in the Levant (Middle East). He will document the ever-changing circumstances of the Jewish people, their tribulations and triumphs under the hegemony of the world’s greatest empires. A must see event to enter the arena of today’s Jewish indignity debate.

The son of Holocaust survivors, Dr. Irving Berkowitz is a widely respected scholar and public speaker on the Holocaust and contemporary antisemitism. He served as Dean of Academic Affairs at Palm Beach State College for more than a decade. He recently completed a fellowship as Scholar in Residence at Oxford University’s Institute for the Study of Global Antisemitism and Policy. Dr. Berkowitz has received numerous commendations, including the 2019 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Distinguished Leadership Award, for his lifetime of scholarship, advocacy and service in relation to racism, antisemitism, hatred and discrimination.
